It has been 3 years since the H3BC virus has taken over the world.
Are you able to go back in time to stop it?
Cint Cerise has been cooped up in an abandoned condo on the outskirts of Georgia. It's nice - she learned somewhere from one of its previous owner's file cabinets that it's worth $2 million. But this sucks. She has to get out of here.
But, within 3 feet of the condo's gate, there's a small, pale zombie. She knows how to handle these! Unknown to Cint, however, is that there's another mindless soldier falling from her rooftop and sneaking up behind her, tearing through her thigh with what's left of it's teeth. She screams, kicks it, and is forced to retreat back inside.
Damn.
Dr. P. Peachtree was enjoying her time spent on vacation in her $2 million condo on one of Georgia's many, beautiful islands. Everyday, P.P. has had at least 3 different kinds of cocktails each - something she hasn't been able to pull off since getting hired as the CDC's most prized virologist.
But, right before she could finish her 13 hour nap, she gets paged.
Damn!
"Peachtree, this is urgent. We're swamped over here. Another patient has been admitted showing signs of the H3BC virus."
This has been her worst fear. P.P. cannot believe this is happening on her time off. Without time to put on her lab coat, P.P. forces her moped to start and fly down the boardwalk as fast as possible.

Ready to Let Go is a part of the Spring 2025 Golden Bear Game Jam!
Per requirement, it's theme is inspired by the assigned phrase: "Before and After."
Creating this game has helped a little group of friends develop their respective skills in art, writing, programming, and music composition!
This is a 2D platformer set in an apocalyptic world, both before and after.
The player is given control of 2 different characters in 2 distinct eras, and faced with challenges that are both timed and filled with obstacles.
Regardless of character and era, the player's goal is to survive as long as possible.
